Closed Theater

Large theater multiplex in downtown San Jose, now closed. Apparently this was part of a failed downtown redevelopment project. The theater looks like it was built fairly recently. Perhaps the dot-com bust was the last straw for some downtown businesses?

Ah ha. I found out more about what happened.

Apparently none of the plans to re-open it have been successful and it remains empty.
