Clan Lord Design Contest

Ann GM made the following announcement on USENET in comp.sys.mac.games.adventure:

Announcing a Clan Lord T-shirt (and other stuff) design contest.

We're planning to put one or more Clan Lord designs on T-shirts, sweatshirts, and maybe mugs and other stuff at Cafe Press. We've ordered a sample shirt to make sure the quality is acceptable first, but as long as it is, we'll need a good design. Trust me, you don't want *my* art on the thing. :)

Designs should meet the Cafe Press image guidelines for shirts:
http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/help/images.aspx
They can be front-only or both front and back.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, January 11, at midnight Pacific time. Send them to me by email.

Like any good contest, this one has prizes! First, of course, there's the fame and honor of having designed a shirt for a cool game. :) If we do end up making shirts (as long as one of the designs is suitable and Cafe Press has good enough quality), then the winner will also receive a free shirt. In addition, he or she will get to choose one of the following prizes:

1. A museum display space
2. Two dyeing berries (lilaberries, orgaberries, or brambleberries)
3. An announce token
4. A temporary signpost
5. 3000 coins

The winner of this contest will be chosen by me. I am the only official judge, and my decision will be final. If there are more than one exceptional designs then we may make more than one T-shirt choice, or put some of them on different kinds of items.

If there are multiple winners, first place will choose first from that list, then second place, and so on.

Designs can use your own art, screenshots, or any of the artwork from the Clan Lord website (except Apple's "X"). If you need an image you can't get from a screenshot, ask me and I'll send a copy if I can. I think I can also send 'Clan Lord' or 'Delta Tao' in a size you request in DT's customary font (Italia bold, for those who have access to it: http://www.linotype.com/693/itcitalia-family.html).

Although it's not a requirement, designs should preferably include the name "Clan Lord" and its URL (http://www.clanlord.com), and possibly "Delta Tao". Spelling counts! :) It would also be best if they were clean -- meaning something your 14-year-old sister could wear to school.

Ann
