Creed sent the following report to TMN:

Hail Para!

Your long-lost roving reporter here with a bit of news. First, I would like to congratulate my friend Peril, who passed the 4th circle fighter test recently!

Second, it looks like Captain Stinkfist's foray into Darshak territory did not go unnoticed or un-revenged. A Darshak leader named Pillard led his men on a major attack on the western Puddleby beaches and docks. Fortunately, a wide array of exiles were in town getting ready for the Order of the White Elephant Open Hunt, and we were able to respond to the threat. As you can see, Althea was one of the lead fighters, as were Elenis Reyav, Torin, Maeght, Hoggle, Downyfoot, Gustave, Ortlinde, and the bloodbladers Revlis and SnowLion.

Pillard was intent on capturing Stinkfist, who was, however, nowhere to be found.

Fen President Largo seemed a bit put out that HE wasn't the one whose head was being called for.

Others called for the head of Pillard himself.

It got a little scary for a while when we were flanked both north and south, and the brewery and casino were both set fire! We eventually won our way to the docks and saw not just one but several huge, elaborate pirate ships off the coast.

After an amusing war of words among Althea, Largo, and Pillard,

we were finally able to draw Pillard from his ship and surround him. Admittedly, he fought hard, but we exiles were too much for him, and we brought him down.

Sadly, though, he didn't drop a chest!

I believe some exiles then headed to Ash Island for some revenge raiding, but I was unable to join them. I was worn out from all that moonstone and asklepian staff use! But it was an exhilarating battle and a great victory over a strong enemy.

Cheers,
-Creed
